Südkorea möchte die Verwaltung einer ganzen Stadt komplett auf Linux und Open Source Software umstellen. Dieses Projekt wird mit 3,5 Millionen EUR gefördert und soll bis 2010 den Einsatz von Linux auf Desktop-PCs in Südkorea von 1% auf 5% erhöhen. Auch die Serverinstallationen sollen von 25% auch 40% gesteigert werden.
