Antivirensoftware-Hersteller Sophos will den ersten Trojaner für Mac OS X entdeckt haben – nennt die Verbreitung aber gleichzeitig „gering“. Der Trojaner Mac/Cowhand-A wird nur knapp als „proxy Trojan for the Mac OSX platform“ beschrieben und soll sich sebst in den Preferences-Ordner kopieren können und beim nächsten Systemstart wieder automatisch geladen werden.
